Self-care in health refers to the activities individuals, families and communities undertake with the intention of enhancing health, preventing disease, limiting illness, and restoring health.
Self-awareness is one of the main pillars of self-care and included the ability to access your physical and mental health. As you are aware, lawyers report a higher than average percentage of mental health issues with a higher increase in suicidal thoughts than the rest of the population. Self-care play a critical role in addressing these mental health issues.
Here are a few simple suggestions to relieve stress from work. Everyone is different, and what works for one person may not work for another.
